BEFORE APPLYING

The project must include at least 2 independent companies from two different countries participating in this call.
Companies must express their willingness to cooperate in the development of the product/process/service.
There must be advantages and value-added as a result of the cooperation between the countries.

The contribution of all project participants must be specified and must be significant (at least 30%).
Participation of research institutes/universities and other organisations in collaboration with companies is welcome according to each country’s funding regulations.

PHASE I

Applications must be presented in English through the website Eureka before 24th February 2023.

The application form considers 4 main areas:

PHASE II

During April 2023, those enterprises that have successfully completed Phase I and have received notification from Corfo of their selection to continue to Phase II may apply for the Crea y Valida Eureka subsidy through the website of Corfo.

This subsidy seeks to support the development of new or improved products (goods and/or services) and/or processes, which involve R&D components, from the prototype phase to the technical validation phase on a productive and/or commercial scale, as well as strengthening the innovation capacities within companies.

Those projects that do not apply for Phase I, or, that were not notified by CORFO to continue to Phase II, will be declared as not eligible for National Phase.

For this call, the subsidy considered a grant of EUR 227,000 (220 million Chilean Pesos).

This call is for projects in all thematic areas or application domains, but special focus is given to the domains related to low carbon emissions, such as the following fields:

Renewable energies
Energy efficiency, energy distribution and storage efficiency
Capture systems and CO2 concentration methods
Green hydrogen (storage, distribution, blue hydrogen as an interim solution to facilitate the transition to green hydrogen [CO2 capture/e fuels], generation systems or others)

Waste2energy, waste management and circular economy, circular materials, eco-design and recycling
Green infrastructure: design tools, methods and building construction elements; digitisation and flow management; energy efficiency in buildings and industry; bio-inspired materials
Transport: circular distribution and logistics; decarbonised mobility; reverse logistics
Agriculture and forestry: innovative and eco-friendly agri-food production systems; healthy food; food quality and safety; logistics; industrial biotechnologies; environmental remediation technologies; environmental monitoring; water cycle; soil restoration
