	14 of the major multinational pharmaceutical companies invested over US$22.2 million in Clinical Research in Chile
	Projected investment for 2007 is US$ 24.5 million
	149 clinical studies carried out
	All clinical trials done in Chile were multi-centre
	28% of them Fase II and 54% Fase III
	300 research sites along the country
	1274 trained and qualified clinical investigators
	7673 patients enrolled
