Chile encourages foreign R&D investment and is particularly interested in investments targeted at developing the pharmaceutical clinical research. For this purpose the Chilean Government is developing an operational model designed to close the gap when compared with the best Clinical Trial markets in the world.

In line with this objective, the Ministry of Health is putting in place all the elements for a world-class regulatory environment including best-in-class Ethical Committee Guidelines.

All these efforts are the reflection of the commitment of Chile to become a world-class biopharmaceutical R&D location.
