Business incubation in Chile is viewed as a support process aimed at accelerating the successful development of companies by providing entrepreneurs with an array of customized resources and services. These services are usually coordinated by the incubator’s management and offered both in the incubator and throughout their network of contacts. Their main goal is to produce successful firms that will grow and leave the program financially viable and freestanding. The “incubator graduates” should have the potential to create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods, and commercialize new technologies while strengthening local and national economies.

Chile has 15 renowned incubators throughout the country, most of them financed by CORFO.
