CORFO is making a deliberate and systematic effort to better match its programs to its customers and to clearly and smoothly disseminate the lines of support available. This means, among other things, constant efforts to streamline information and procedures for requesting support, adapting them to new needs.

CORFO customers are companies (approximately 97% of which are MSMEs). Though them, CORFO accomplishes its mission to promote national economic development, since as companies progress, so do their workers, the productive environment and the country at large.

The focus on these customers is embodied in various initiatives, as evidenced by this new revamped Web site. It is a transactions-based site that fully meets the standards set forth in decree 100 and W3C. Its layout is the result of thorough testing with clients and its contents have been prepared with the aim of maximizing communication with users. Its high-contrast design also provides access for the visually impaired.

Other ongoing projects to improve customer service:

  • Implementation of the client service platform (CRM): Seeks to improve customer knowledge, targeted promotion, market intelligence, and information to better serve customers and follow up on their requests.

  • Redesign of CORFO's Regional Directorates: The purpose is to have executives who are trained in the full range of CORFO programs and who can provide customers with comprehensive service.

  • Improving intermediary channels: Better service coverage and quality with CORFO standards.

  • Process optimization: reducing timeframes, streamlining processes.
